Second Chef– Private 100m+ Passenger Vessel
This a Passenger vessel that runs privately. The vessel applies high-profile yachting standards and is part of a large operation.
Start date: January 1st, 2025
Location: Europe/ Middle East
Package: Salary in Euros – leave 114 paid days (4/2)
Experience and attributes required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in high-end restaurants, hotels, or cruise ships.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare a variety of cuisines (e.g., Mediterranean, Asian, Arabic, Fusion).
- Strong culinary skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Ability to plan, prepare, and execute multi-course meals for guests and crew.
- Confident with a la carte service.
- Meticulous about cleanliness and maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing guest preferences and dietary requirements.
- Flexible with working hours and capable of working under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively with other crew members.
Qualifications required:
- Level 2 or 3 food hygiene certificate
- Crowd Management
- Crisis Management & Human Behaviour
- Designated Security Duties (DSD)
- STCW (fully updated)
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months
- Seaman’s Discharge Book
- Covid Vaccinated & booster (client request)
