Rotational AVIT Officer 100m+ Private M/Y

Start date: End April 2024

Ideally the yacht would like to have the new person on board for a couple of weeks familiarisation where they could concentrate solely on learning the ship and the systems onboard.   The latest possible date for the familiarisation would be first 2 weeks in March

Location: Europe/Middle East

Package: Salary in Euros. 176 days leave (2:2)

Experience and attributes required:

• 2 years in AV systems maintenance, including TVRO and IPTV and ideally previous cruise or yacht experience in a similar position
• Familiar with inventory management like AMOS
• Good problem-solving skills and customer service with experience in refits and detailed documentation
• Good communication skills
• Fluent English both written and oral

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
• On-the-job training, especially in maritime settings
• Up to date STCW with PDSD
• Crowd management
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months
• Seaman’s Discharge Book
• Covid Vaccinated
